We were recommended to arrange our Turkey travels through an agency as the prices skyrocket as the high season approaches... When we arrived in Turkey we hadn't given much thought to what we wanted to do/see so the agent was able to recommend the best sites and tours etc. We dealt with Huseyin at New Deal and he was fantastic. In a little over two weeks we saw Istanbul (2 nights), Capadocia (2n), Antalya (1n), Olympos (1n), Demre-Fethiye (4 day V-Go yacht cruise), Pamukkale (1n), and Ephesus (3 nights). We had some serious issues with a local contractor in Capadocia (Agra Tours) and after having no luck sorting the issue out ourselves, we called Huseyin who sorted it out within half an hour! To avoid similar problems we would recommend that travellers insist on being taken to the hotel specified on their travel voucher as it is inconceivable for local agencies to rebook people in cheaper accomodation in an attempt to increase their margins...
